How to get a good scan +
- Choose one matte, textured object on a plain surface. Keep it still.
- Walk around it in a full circle. Take overlapping photos at object height, then from above.
- Keep the whole object in frame. Use steady light and the same camera zoom.
- Avoid glass, shiny metal, moving subjects, and objects without visible texture.
More photos help only when they show different, overlapping angles. Hidden cavities and fine concave details may not be captured.
